New Features of the Abundant Living System
During the past several weeks, Abundant Living System has been working on adding new features to their gifting system, as well as removing some that were thought to be unimportant. They have kept the details of this ongoing development a secret until it was ready to be implemented.
Finally, ALS has unveiled the new features, and announced to the community, whom have been anxiously waiting to hear the good news. The details were explained by ALS in an email dated March 24, 2009.
Details
- Admin Fees
The email proclaimed, “Abundant Living System is now…100% free to join!” Anyone who now joins ALS will not have to pay any admin fees.
Introducing a zero admin fee gifting program was a wise decision, as it will attract those who may have shied away in the past. It also takes the business aspect out of the program, encompassing the true spirit of “cash gifting.” Consider the following definition of cash gifting: “Cash gifting is the act of privately or publicly giving another person or entity a declared sum of cash, strictly as a gift – and giving it freely without coercion or consideration.”
Cash gifting is simply that: gifts of cash. Therefore, cash gifting is not a business and does not involve transactions. An Admin fee is not a gift, and thus has to be considered a transaction. By removing the admin fee from the program, ALS has removed the stigma of being considered a business. This is in the cash gifting community’s best interest because it removes the possibility of legality issues in the future.
- PIF (Pay It Forward)
The PIF gift, once thought to be important has now been removed from the program. As it turns out, the PIF feature was nothing more than a hindrance. In most cases, it prevented new enrollees from being confirmed in the system in a timely manner.
A new member was not able to receive cash gifts and enroll others into the program, until the PIF gift was confirmed by the recipient. A PIF gift receiver would often procrastinate about confirming receipt of a PIF gift, simply because it was of no personal significance for him to do so.
The PIF gift receiver was not the direct sponsor of the new member. They were not going to benefit further from the new member. Also, a PIF gift is usually small in comparison to the actual cash gift to the sponsor, so the sense of urgency in confirming the PIF gifts was non existent. It was that indifference towards PIF gifting that eventually lead ALS in taking action to remove the feature. ALS now provides a program of sound organizational structure and integrity.
- Gifting Levels
Abundant Living System has 11 gifting levels to choose from, ranging between $75 and $12,000. Previously, members were not able to select what levels to offer prospective enrollees. All 11 levels were made available by default.
Now, ALS has implemented the feature of being able to select the lowest gifting level you want to offer to your prospective enrollees. You can select $75, $150, $250 or $500 as your lowest gifting level, thus giving you more discretionary power.
Not everyone wants to deal with the smaller cash gifts. On the other hand, others are grateful for even the smallest cash gifts they receive. Now, ALS has given the cash gifting community the ability to receive how they see fit.
Conclusion
Now that the Abundant Living System has made these improvements to their gifting program, the program will only grow in popularity. Introducing the zero admin fee policy, removing PIF, and providing control over the gifting levels will allow the program to remain strong and flourish.
The Abundant Living System continues their efforts in structuring the best cash gifting program possible. Therefore, it is no surprise that their member base increases rapidly, making them one of the largest gifting programs available today.
